Jonathan Andrew “Drew” Chapman, CPA is an Audit Manager with Bourgeois Bennett, LLC specializing in financial audits and reviews, employee benefit plan audits, internal control assessments, and nontraditional engagements. He has planned and performed audits ranging from startup nonprofit entities to publicly traded financial institutions with assets in excess of $4 billion. His clients primarily include those in the education, nonprofit, construction, and maritime industries.
Drew earned his Bachelor of Accountancy and Master of Accountancy at the University of Mississippi, and was awarded the Silas M. Simmons Bronze Medal for achieving the third highest score on the CPA exam in the state.
While continuing his responsibilities with Bourgeois Bennett, Drew served as interim CFO of Kingsley House during 2015. The lessons learned from that experience continue to shape his interests outside of the office as well as his approach to serving clients. He teaches continuing professional education classes for CPA’s, and previously taught Fundamentals of Accounting at Delgado Community College.
A member of the Society of Louisiana CPA’s, Drew is also an active volunteer with the New Orleans Chapter of the American Cancer Society, Second Harvest Food Bank, and the Louisiana SPCA.
